[[Disclaimer:]] This chapter is yet again another big turning point for a lot of characters. Change is even shown in Dwight and Lillian, who are not the focus of the chapter, but you can see them settling into their strengthening characters.

Vayu's bruises and hair loss were something I ended up including to her character because of my own self-harm. For years I couldn't, and sometimes still can't, wear certain shirts or tops because they would show the scars and scabs and scratches I'd inflict on myself, and to this day I powder my eyebrows because I'm lost many of them from pulling them out. Small project/painting practice after I polished off another project's lengthy line art this evening. For once in my life I have another fandom on my mind that isn't Homestuck (I've been re-playing Twilight Princess in lieu of not having a Wii and not being able to play Skyward Sword, weeeh)

Two hours, completely done in Paint Tool SAI, animated in ImageReady 7.

Mike brought Skyward Sword round today CAN YOU TELL I BET YOU CAN TELL. I was replaying TP but my memory card's gone missing so that went out the window.

Was a good game though.

Enough about my fangirling. Your artwork. Yes. Must focus. You're getting really good at the bright highlights now, which is just peeeeeerfect for TP art. Also, Link's hair looks just fabulous.

His nose is a little too bulbous at the bottom though. On another model it might give character, but as Link is an elfy effeminate bastard he does require the teensy fairy nose.

Now draw more Zelda stuff. In fact, that can be my Birthday present. Draw me something Zeldary.
Oh, and Happy Boxing Day.

So far Fi hasn't been that great, but I love her design so that saves it.

I like Fi's design, but I've only really heard negative comments about her because she's Super Captain Obvious and likes to do the toneless robot thing.

Yeah that's what it's been so far, I don't know if she's going to have personality or back story later on, I'm barely half way through the main quest at the moment.

It's gorgeous and captures Link's image perfectly! His eyes especially draw me in and the slightly animated background is a really nice touch. Lately I've noticed you've been playing around ever so slightly with your colouring. It's quite a refreshing side to see you try one or two tiny techniques that toy can notice in the detail! I really love how his skin isn't super pasty either and his lips and nose are a darker shade.

My painting technique is different lately because of Tumblr, actually. Every other month I ask people to submit me critiques on things they notice in my art that can be improved on. The different painting style is a result of another critique batch!
